Study Abroad

Study abroad is a dream of many people Vietnamese people. The feeling of living and studying in a developed country, being in contact with, interfering with cultures, being scrutinized with a variety of intellectual differences, being taught world-class professors is wonderful and a memorable experience. However, I know that the words "Study abroad" are still luxuries and sometimes Utopian with so many young people throughout Vietnam. In the context of the majority of Vietnamese families we are poor, parents raising children to eat warm is good, where money for children to study. Study abroad is expensive, going to the study abroad center and spend a large sum of money to consult the records to enter the top ranked universities are still a barrier to many families, Including well-off families.
Study Abroad, how to apply for scholarship, how to find and apply scholarship, studying abroad

Have parents ever wonder if their children learn English like this, is that really learnning? What is the direction we are going in teaching foreign languages to children? Over the past 10 years, Vietnam has been teaching English to Cambridge. Textbooks, materials, exam preparation programs, special topics and so on, everything is come from Cambridge. Cause Cambridge is a very well-structured syllabus, from phonetics to vocabulary-structure. Let's stop together for a few hours, let's meditate together! How much did a Cambridge generation of 10 years of English use? Have to study for 10 years, it costs a lot of money and in return the children the IELTS score is 6.5?

If you only exchange IELTS, do not need to study for 10 years. We only need to train a child 14 years of age or older who does not know any English to a level of 6.5 IELTS in 2 years. I guarantee it is feasible, many of you will agree with me, but some will oppose me. I have never and never disparaged the Cambridge English system because I grew up with them. But what I am suggesting here is that we can choose something better when that better thing really exists that we have not yet discovered to compensate for MINDSET deficiencies existing among children already Spend 10 years with that learning system.

Vietnamese parents do not need to know this, do not understand them and do not to care about them. The only thing they need is that their children can study abroad, become successful, have stable jobs and live a happy life.

However, Is study abroad the only way to succeed in this life? I would like to tell you honestly that "Study abroad is not the only way to succeed." Let's look around us, there are so many people who are doing their best and being successful. They are not necessarily the ones who have the perfect education and study abroad right from the beginning. It is the people who are struggling hard that they are people who understand life and realize the value of learning. Study abroad is good, but not everyone who study abroad will become successful. First, if you want to be successful, you have to know if you really want to do something. If you have not received the answer yet, please wait, rehearse and cultivate further, until you have determined your dream, try your best to do it, Anything can happen. And not everyone to study abroad is successful. There are people who have studied abroad, and after completing their course, they do not know what to do next. Simply because they do not identify their dreams, their future. If you are fortunate enough to be born into a well-off family, you will be traveling around the world for inspiration maybe. However if you were born in a family with no good condition, then this is really a problem. Will you spend a whole lot of money to learn a foreign language and study abroad, and finally get back to your country and become a sweep garbager just because you don’t know what to do? So you don’t need to do everything just for study abroad.

And if you decide to study abroad, then be prepared for the following steps.

1. Select study destination

Each country is a different cultural impression, no country like any country. So, there will definitely be unique differences between territories, lifestyles, topographical features, people and indigenous cultures. It is very necessary to learn about the culture and customs of the country you are targeting. And of course, you must learn the language that the country uses.

2. Choose the school

As we have more options in studying, it takes us more time to remind ourselves of the options that are right for us. So you have to decide your school before you go studying abroad.

3. Choose the discipline

It is quite common to make a decision about a discipline, especially for undergraduate students. You can read more about the content of the field as well as the sharing of teachers, PhDs and professors in the field to get a closer look. Tracking the direction of alumni will also help you visualize job opportunities after graduation.

4. Prepare your profile.

Once you have selected the school and the country you are attending, the next step is to follow the step-by-step record. In addition to your IELTS, you must also take a photo of a high school diploma, a certificate of scholarship (if applicable), and proof of cash in your household account and property. The next step is to download the "Application form" on the school website and fill in all the necessary information. After you have sent all of these documents to the other school, they will send you a letter called "Unconditional letter" and a certificate of acceptance for that school.

5. Be prepared financial capability.

Once you are well prepared, you will no longer worry about the cost of studying. There are many financial plans that allow you to realize your dream of studying abroad. In terms of finance, while studying abroad, you live alone and without family is a very important financial backing, so it is essential that you have enough money for school and food for at least a year. . You can say that some countries allow students to earn extra income, but this source of income can not cover all of the big expenses like tuition, housing, meals in a year.

6. Get the visa

The next step will be to complete some visa procedures.
The problem of residence is also one of the headaches for international students. This process requires you to have the required paperwork, which is sometimes confusing for newcomers. In the worst case scenario, you may be forced to leave your home country before completing the course and it is extremely unfortunate for all your investment efforts. Therefore, you need to pay special attention to the visa process and strictly follow the relevant procedures for legal residence.

7. Choose accommodation

There are many options for accommodation for international students, but it is not easy to make decisions when you are not directly involved in housing or understanding of indigenous culture. You can rent your own dorm room or stay with friends, or you can pay and stay with a family, but do not forget to strictly enforce their rules if you do not want to sleep outside.

8. Prepare psychological readiness

You should never think that studying abroad is a paradise of freedom and a promised land of happiness. Life and study where there are always existing constraints exist and successful you must know how to overcome these difficulties. You have to remember that living away from home means that you have to do everything yourself, from the go to the market, cook, do laundry, and do all the work, in class at the same time. In addition, you have to solve the sadness of homesickness, miss parents and relatives in the early period in the land of visitors.
Do not be discouraged, you will surely have good friends you do not expect, especially those who come from different places, different languages, different skin color and customs. Finally, if unfortunately slipped a few subjects? Do not panic, be honest with your family, calm down to see why you slip, meet the tutor and get advice from them, change the way you learn from passive to master Self-motivation and self-study always take up most of your time.
As suggested above, studying abroad poses both opportunities and challenges. While young people can become polyglots and independent individuals, gain opportunities for personal growth and develop an appreciation of cultural differences, they have to cope with the stress of living overseas. However if you are sure of your decision then I hope you will be successful on your chosen path.
